Come join us at this fun-filled sharing session on SgSL by Mr. Andrew Tay.
The sharing session will cover: -
- What is a language?
- Why is SgSL important to us?
- How will our true Deaf culture develop?
- How can we maintain our communication in SgSL with one another?
- How can we contribute to SgSL development?
Speaker’s profile: -
Andrew has been actively volunteering in SADeaf since 1989. He was once a Sign Language Instructor and had been to Denmark for International Sign Research in 1993 and International Sign Seminar in Hong Kong in 2007. Andrew headed the Deaf Parent Support Group (DPSG) in 2004 and is currently leading the SgSL workgroup.
