Last CC lesson

after our last CC lesson yesterday, our students and us went to the Hans at the National Library there for dinner.. uncle stanley and peter were very enthusiastic to combine alot of the tables so that all of us can sit.. i think there were about 20 of us. haha. their attempts failed cos we could only fit 15 at one go. so we split up - 7 plus 13 - at 2 different areas.


after the dinner we took some photos again and yl the paparazzi caught this picture!

after dinner we went around bugis to shop shop.. pat and jialin wanna buy shoes.. hahaa.. so our extremely huge crowd went to accompany them... except that peter and thomas went off right after dinner.. but it was amusing to see a crowd standing outside a shop. haha aunti patty says feel abit guilty make all of the rest wait for us (mainly jialin pat liling eileen me) while we shopped hahaa..


then xuan LC and me parted with them outside Action City cos we had a lot of work to do at home... on the train i just slpt all the way manz! so tired... yawn.. post the pics another day. hoho

Candy Empire

it was a trip to Candy Empire. So we managed to get some things back from there... sha-sha-de, i took and took till i realised my bag seemed pretty heavy -_-. I shall do a brief writeup and let Hammy Hong fill in the rest eh!

So we decided to meet at Vivo City first and since it was raining, most of us were late except for Sifu.. but anw the rest of us arrived shortly and so was our Lao Chio!!!

Stun#1 - Shouting "Lao Chio" right across the shopping complex to get Aunti's attention!!! You must try this out the next time and see the way Aunti dodged to avoid embarrassment!! muahahhahahahahahahaha

Stun#2 - Aunti's chopstick skills and her defense using the chopsticks!We arent sure what to buy frm the vivo's Candy Empire, so we decided to go to the Millenia's instead and Aunti told us a "horror" story which was really "chilling" during our train ride. YIKS!!!

Stun#3 - Aunti is officially our Bai Ma, White Horse for Sifu!!

Stun#4 - Aunti's impersonation of Jin1 San1 Shun4 after her hair cut at Millenia!! So she is also known as Bai Ma Bai San Shun (白马白三顺)

the skys are sooo smokey that everytime i walk out from the office building that i thought that it was drizzling. Later that i realised that it was the haze.

Mother of Mine.
This show should be shown on TV during Mothers' Day! hahaha Its definitely very Gan3 Dong4. Not that it would make you cry, but then it would suddenly and certainly make u realise the love and the importance of your mother. Though we would often think that their actions are too Extra sometimes or that we would always mis-comprehend their actions... wad they do are always for the Best Cause! It suddenly reminds of the Gong-Li's that Piao4 Liang4 Ma Ma.

A Tale of a Movie Date and Guys in Yellow

Hahahahahaha.... Ok, even though only Alvin promised not to laugh.. The rest of us shall try too!! Yea, heard that 'Mother of Mine' is quite good!! You guys update ah..

Oohhh... I love VivoCity!!! Not really the mall ah, but the guys in yellow!!! They wheeled around in some version of a scooter bike and shout very energically "Good morning!!! Welcome to VivoCity!!!". Woooohooooooo........ Of course, kids love them and lots of hi-5s were going on. Minmin says that the scooters quite expensive ah.. Some new tech thing she saw on WuZhongXian's show.. haha.. Those guys in green are quite cool too.. directing traffic ah.. Saw this lil boy up at the platform with him and the guy was directing the lil boy, doing a series of funny actions and shaking of butts. hahaha... I got very high watching their antics in progress. haha

Ah Chui and Ah Hai were very tired. Old liao lah... So they're not in the mood to shop. Poor Song Bird, Yuan Xuan and me, are stuck with the arghhhhh FYP... But still, we found the time to play... Pacific Cafe has gotten those swing things. Quite romantic, we were sitting on it but some contraptions prevented us from swinging 360 degrees ah... The play court area looks cool too.. Those high tech see-saw... But there's no McD and it's very hard to find a power point. Minmin and I walked for over an hour just to find a decent place for our discussion. Meanwhile, at Toys 'R Us...

Yay, this ends our day in VivoCity. Plans for dinner was aborted due to old age and tiredness... hahahah... Ah Nua, Ibu and Alvin ah, let's plan again!! haha

Oh, lucky minmin reminded me ah... Ah Hai made a Frieudian slip siah... he went and poke Geoffrey's breast ah.. Something was poking out and he just started poking... EEEkkksssss......... Oh, Geoffrey is Toys 'R Us mascot... Not forgetting minmin, either her or Ah Hai noticed that his messy attire and started puuling his pants up and tucking in his shirt. Super funny ah.. Poor Geoffrey, being abused by kids who like to pull his hands..

but it's also celebration for lisa's birthday! celebrated at SAD for the both of them. YUMMY CAKE! thanks to alvin who bought it. hehh



on the bus right there, minyee keep playing with the rsphi xiao pooh (she named it that ah i think, saw on her nick..) haha, snapped a pic of her!



reached the place then we played Swap again! hahaa. this time huiying and mingteck abit the lag.. aunti nessa you got out of your 'wols'-ness!! hahaa congrats! cannot really remember the details sia.. but think when kangjian just arrive, he took over minyee's cards ah, then he win le! qiang...


also played Category 5.. the card games add up the 'boxes' on the top of the cards one.. then when you collect 73 boxes you lose the whole game!!! so the first round, uncle neo was leading sia, with 33 boxes, followed by ah boy mingteck who got 30 boxes.. but in the end, gen lost with forgot-how-many boxes collected! think 77 ah.. so she took a photo with the 'tiara'! hoho, must wait for aunti nessa's camera pics...

Update on Clementi

LOL.. long time didnt post anything here le.. kinda busy recently.. well, right not still got 2 lab reports and 1 assignment to rush.. but decided to take a break.. LOL.. decided to blog about Clementi tuition today.. hehee

As usual, slacking.. well, not because we wanted to.. but is because most students finish exam liao.. so we tutors (especially the seniors) nothing much to do.. hahah

The usual Clementi outing.. "Tang Yuan" outing.. LOL.. red bean, sesame, peanut, green tea, or yam?? which one do u like?? LOL..

okie, just a short update.. will be back with more if i can get my hand on more juicier gossip or stuff like tat.. hahahah

CUFL continues...

Our reporter/host Ah Hai should be busy poopooing after a long dinner of Jap buffet so no updates... (you must add in okiee.. i headstart liaos.)

we went to Ikoi Jap restaurant (i think the name's ikoi la.. cant rem) at Miramar Hotel. woah, the place not bad sia! got jap lanterns outside the door... then got the cloth thing that is hanging outside the restaurant. then ah hai and corinne were playing with that cloth thing machiam going for hot bathe sia! hahaa..

when we settled down, we immediately went to order! let the expert do the work.. ws got down to order what he tried before... pregnant fish (now we know it's called shishamo), salmon sashimi, mix of sashimi (ika, snapper, tako, etc), then still got shitake mushroom.. YUM!!!

our table ate so much sashimi sia... our table got ws, van, rm and me... then ah hai table gt corinne, tl, zz and ah hai! old of the old sia. hahaa! i think they ate more of the tempura.. heard they ordered all on the tempura list!! so hiong... not much photos taken, too busy eating la..

Maki!!

after we were more or less full, we decided to play "zhong ji mi ma"! the game shld be familiar to most ppl.. but i shall jsut explain: one person set a number, then the other ppl try to guess a number, but must hope theirs is not the setter's number! if not must kena forfeit.. and for our case, the stake gets higher... wasabi! the stake kept increasing! from a very small amount to more!

TL was the first to kena.. but he escaped unscathed! according to him, he rolled the wasabi on his tongue.. but then when the next victim, corinne, tried, the old amah almost got choked by the wasabi! took a while to calm down, after a few gulps of green tea..

oh then TL deduced a method to keep the wasabi-effect to the smallest while me, corinne and rm went to the toilet.. the method is to roll the wasabi on the roof of the mouth! but i tried, and it doesnt work! ok, at least for the amt that i ate, it didnt work! mine was the increased stake liaos.. argh.. wasabi rushed down my throat and rushed up my nose sia. my nose is unblocked! what a cheap and effective way to unblock ur nose yea!

Eventual winners of the zhong ji mi ma! 3 times for RM n TL each and 2X for me, thanx to my #22 that gave me a second chance to eat the wasabi, hahah luckily shared with ZZ else sure mati! becoz the lump of "green soya bean paste" was Big! RM the cool wasabi yummer, TL the tongue roller! and me the contorted face !
si-fu started her "vegetarian" meal with the carrot and later she claimed that her sashimi and all else were mock meat. Very realistic mock sashimis and chickens that were tried.. hahahahaha.. notice her "serious" look~~
