CUFL continues...

Our reporter/host Ah Hai should be busy poopooing after a long dinner of Jap buffet so no updates... (you must add in okiee.. i headstart liaos.)

we went to Ikoi Jap restaurant (i think the name's ikoi la.. cant rem) at Miramar Hotel. woah, the place not bad sia! got jap lanterns outside the door... then got the cloth thing that is hanging outside the restaurant. then ah hai and corinne were playing with that cloth thing machiam going for hot bathe sia! hahaa..

when we settled down, we immediately went to order! let the expert do the work.. ws got down to order what he tried before... pregnant fish (now we know it's called shishamo), salmon sashimi, mix of sashimi (ika, snapper, tako, etc), then still got shitake mushroom.. YUM!!!

our table ate so much sashimi sia... our table got ws, van, rm and me... then ah hai table gt corinne, tl, zz and ah hai! old of the old sia. hahaa! i think they ate more of the tempura.. heard they ordered all on the tempura list!! so hiong... not much photos taken, too busy eating la..

Maki!!

after we were more or less full, we decided to play "zhong ji mi ma"! the game shld be familiar to most ppl.. but i shall jsut explain: one person set a number, then the other ppl try to guess a number, but must hope theirs is not the setter's number! if not must kena forfeit.. and for our case, the stake gets higher... wasabi! the stake kept increasing! from a very small amount to more!

TL was the first to kena.. but he escaped unscathed! according to him, he rolled the wasabi on his tongue.. but then when the next victim, corinne, tried, the old amah almost got choked by the wasabi! took a while to calm down, after a few gulps of green tea..

oh then TL deduced a method to keep the wasabi-effect to the smallest while me, corinne and rm went to the toilet.. the method is to roll the wasabi on the roof of the mouth! but i tried, and it doesnt work! ok, at least for the amt that i ate, it didnt work! mine was the increased stake liaos.. argh.. wasabi rushed down my throat and rushed up my nose sia. my nose is unblocked! what a cheap and effective way to unblock ur nose yea!

later on, we left the restaurant, went to Tiong bahru plaza macs to eat ice cream!

CUFL reigns... and we are going to continue it in Taiwan and Hongkong nxt year in June/July - after COR '07. who wanna join us? the planning committee is as follows:

Eventual winners of the zhong ji mi ma! 3 times for RM n TL each and 2X for me, thanx to my #22 that gave me a second chance to eat the wasabi, hahah luckily shared with ZZ else sure mati! becoz the lump of "green soya bean paste" was Big! RM the cool wasabi yummer, TL the tongue roller! and me the contorted face !
si-fu started her "vegetarian" meal with the carrot and later she claimed that her sashimi and all else were mock meat. Very realistic mock sashimis and chickens that were tried.. hahahahaha.. notice her "serious" look~~
