Great Auntie Great Aunite; Great Uncle Great Uncle; with increasing seniority, your GA and GU increases. e.g Uncle Heng is GUGUGUGU
Welcome to the 27th July edition of Associate News. First off the Headlines for today:
Frightened Associates by a flashing lightning.
While on a business visit to the Petronas, Uncle Neo and Ms Chui were seen to have been zapped by a lightning during their attempt to reach the top of the poles laid on top of the Petronas. This scene had left many passerbys deeply in a state of horror. Their dare-devil act to scale the Petronas had been part a of their business activities during their trip to Kuala Lumpur. The weather was fine before their attempt.
Unfortunately while each of them were about to reach their respective poles on the Petronas twin tower, a thundery cloud began to generate on the side of Ms Chui. Soon enough, a flashing bluish light appeared across the sky and a thundery clap followed. A loud screech was heard following the thundery roar. Passerby stopped in their footsteps and the traffic came to a sudden halt. It had been presumed that the screeching sound that followed the thundery clap had intimidated the people instead. Everyone turned to look towards the poles on the tower, and saw 2 figures at the top of the lightning poles! Uncle Neo and Ms Chui both looked allright but were indeed a little shakened.
Both Uncle Neo and Ms Chui had completed their tasks of conquring the poles of Petronas!! When both had recovered from the earlier lightning scare, a sense of deep satisfaction and new confidence began to beam from their face. Our associates had done the impossible.
Right now, we are on air with Gugugugu from KL:
Studio: How are the 2 associates after their dare-devil act?
Gu: They have recovered from the physical exhaustion and also the lightning that had suddenly flashed across the sky during their final attempt up the poles. Both associates are returning to The Star Town Inn to rest after this.
Studio: How about you and Uncle Thongz? How did you feel when you saw the clouds gathering?
Gu: Oh! We were very much worried when we saw the clouds coming towards Ms Chui's side. But we realised that we could do nothing more than to watch them scale higher towards the tip of the pole. Chuiness always happen and this that happened today is considered a small fry already. As for Uncle Thongz, he quickly set up a altar to pray for good weather again the moment he saw the clouds gathering. He cut 2 oranges into 4 halves and places them at each corners. Perhaps this action had minimised the intensity of the lightning.
Studio: The traffic came to a stand-still. Were the crowds applauded by this brave act by the associates?
Gu: I would certainly presume that they were! However, i think it had also been that super screech that made more people stopped in their activities. The scene was magnificant! Everyone were looking upwards immedately and were surprised to see two figures at the top of the poles. The cloud disappeared after the thundery roar. We were amazed how the cloud disappeared so quickly as well. Both our associates stood on top of the poles, beaming with pride. The crowds cheered too!
Studio: Was Uncle Neo affected by the sudden screeching sound?
Gu: I'm not sure about that. I would certainly ask him later.
Studio: All right, Thank Gugugugu.
Gu: You are welcome.
Well. Before we go, there are some more interesting footages to share with you regarding "the attempt up the poles". A passerby had sent in a photoshot of the frightened associates at the moment the lightning struck. And we had also been told that someone shouted "CheemSim AH!!" at the Petronas square below.
The frightened look of our associates when the lightning struck, sent in by a passerby. It is certainly that Ms Chui was more frightened and that explained the deafening screech everyone below the towers heard.
Other news for today are, Aunti Nessa's lost secret recipe for brownie and on how her new recipe had been received by the associates. Gaga had been barred from entertainment and how she is coping with her new-found boredom alongside her "street wise under crisis" issue.
Next, lets take a look at the tradings for today. We see a rise in SioBakZhang shares and a dip in Horland stocks. Much had pointed out that Gaga's boredom and the KL's zero horlanding act had triggered the 5% drop in the Horland. Market watchers are now more focused on Gaga's activites as the stocks is now more dependent on her lifestyle.
That is all for the 27thJuly's edition of Associate News. For more updates regarding the KL trip, do stay on to "Gagu Gagu atyour Channel". Have a great weekend.
Yes, hollanding has its uses as well. I shall repeat that I happen to be very streetwise under crisis. So off we move on to the correct place. On our way there, we couldn't help but wonder what would happen if we'd really went up to the 2nd level and there is indeed such a unit number....
Ding Donnggg...
Harassed Housewife (with spatula in her hand) :What you want?
We :Hi, we've reserved seats for 10 =)
Harassed Housewife :What seats? We don't sell no seats!!
..............-_-!!!
Uncle LeeTat's thoughts are more of a exotic masseur type. To be fair, Uncle LeeTat did say that we are at the wrong side, but a certain Uncle Heng is leading the way, going around looking for the legendary swimming pool that will lead us to our destination (which is at the other side of Holland V).
Then we had to wait for Aunti Nessa and Aunti Patty along the roadside where we are enaged in a battle of tikuing. Both of them had lead us horlanding along the way once or twice. An official challenge has been issued. We shall see which one of us can consecutively tiku Ah Chui the most number of time. This challenge shall end next year when we graduate.
So there we are at Settlers' Cafe, Uncle MingTeck and Ah Bird joined us subsequently. Uncle Heng went to fetch Ah Bird, bringing along a brolly. We were thinking of romantic thoughts with both of them sharing an umbrella when AH Bird turned up alone. Uncle Heng has failed to meet up with Ah Bird......-_-!!!
We played various games the most memorable being Pits as we employed the use of hammer. My poor fingers are still feeling the pain from Uncle MingTeck's strike. Of unknown reasons, during one of the strikes, one of the lousy hammer's side came off, through no fault of the user. The hammer must be feeling the heat from the previous users. Uncle LeeTat managed to revive the poor hammer.
Jungle Speed was also played and Uncle Neo almost collected all of our cards. His powess in this game is unbeatable indeed.
We played a couple balancing games as well. Fun, but hard to set up. Ah Chui and Uncle Heng appear to be the worst at this sort of games. Hahahaha...
The last game we played was some farm animals game. Each of us are supposed to pick an animal mascot from the bag without letting anyone know what it is. Next we are supposed to create a sound for that animal. Off we go and Uncle Neo took an extremely long time before coming up with 'mooooo...' for his animal. A round of applause for him please. But that day's zui jia gao xiao jiang goes to Uncle Heng, who goes 'mehhhhh.....' when it's his turn. Imagine our surprise when Ah Bird (who was sitting beside him) goes 'mehhhhhh....' as well. The gamekeeper who was guiding us through the game was baffled. He took a peek at Uncle Heng's animal and declared it not a sheep. At this point in time, we were all rolling on the floor, laughing our heads off. Finally, it was decided that Uncle Heng's animal should give out a 'neighhhhhh' sound. I truly pity the gamekeepers who had to guide us through the games.
Uncle Heng shall tell you more about WalaWala when he comes down from his highness. I think someone should tell the rest about the food as well. The famous XO fish head (which, in my opinion, has no XO) and the rest of the scrumptuous food which, sadly, I didn't get to eat because I was too full from fish and chips... ahhhhhhhhh......
Also, I'd like to add that I was vastly disappointed when not a single person was kneeling nor bowing (with the exception of Uncle Neo) when I was walking down the streets of Holland Village.
======
Part2.
Lets take a look at this picture before we continue on Wala Wala.
The mighty strength of the Queen... caught in the act.
After Settlers' Cafe, we went for dinner at the famous Holland XO Fish Head. I must say my luck with fish is bad. There were so many bones in my tiny piece that there were no other who had to spit out the bones more than i had to.. I shall eat fillet and fish slices from now on..
Wala Wala was really crowded from 7pm. Luckily we heeded to Uncle Neo's concern about the crowd at Wala Wala, especially, on a Friday nite. We had hoegaarden beer in jugs which i did not count how many we actually had. It was a one for one before 9pm. Ah Bird needed LT to tell her that one for one actually meant buy one get one free.... =P
Time passed by quite quickly, partly because the music was great, and that we just continued drinking on and on through the night. We had definitely gotten high last night but it was certainly the only place to be! I suppose that it had been the campanion too! Muahaha we rock!
The band was wonderful but less one thing... the speaker on our side was too loud. Haha... Just as Uncle Neo had signed "Thank God we know signing". Earlier, we tried shouting into each others ear until our voice grown coarse. We realised it was more "effective communication" to sign. *Smirk!! We know signing!! HOHOHO! SAY say say~~~ I say, WALA Wala is Great and the best way to round up our trip to the Queen's homeland and to round up this week!
BOW* we bow to our queen.
