Grace LKK with Pride

Settler's Cafe @ Holland V - Friday11Aug. Yup i went to the Settler's again. hahaha, and this time are with the LKKs and the soon-to-be LKKs... bcoz they are now final yr students!!

Telling all final year students out there in our Association. You are eligible to the status of LKK and very soon, welcome to the club - Full Time.

Allrite, so a sneak preview to what LKKs do... or rather things to expect when you turn LKK. All identites of members are strictly confidential. Pictures are available though for identification purposes.

So, we arranged to meet at 730 at the settlers. But, being in the LKK, it will be difficult to meet the timing in fact. Work commitments and our LKK-ness rulez! Yeahman. So A-C-W reached first, then followed by B, then X, then D, then Y and finally Z!! She had super OTz. hahaha but M(goz) even more OT and cant come. I must remind all readers that you will realised that life is really different the moment you reach LKK status. There are other issues to settle down first and timing is definitely something you cannot control. You will have to let time rulez and not you control the timing.. muahahaha...

Anyway, those of us who have reached already, decided to play while waiting for the rest to arrive. We started with Slamwich - a very reflexes game, and game not for sharp fingernails!! So there is a thief card, double decker, sandwich and number card. SLAM it when you see any of them appear. Being a more senior LKK, i was quickly out of the game, losing my cards... But i had another mission... to provide these pictures!!

After a round of sandwich and some red palms, we decided to change game. HA! We changed to Cluedo! Completely clueless of how to play the game since it was some eternity since we played, we decided to let RP read the rules while we ate our meals.. haha she proposed the game and so she rose up to the challenge of learning how to play the game... heeheehee... but arh.. its a long game and not for the do-not-like-mind-games person like me. At the end, Chaoliang won! It was Plum+Kitchen+Wrench. At least we completed the game.. hahahaha though slow and mind-challenging. But hey one thing unexpected happened. Kim Ng came filming the Hey Hey Taxi! and we managed to get her to take pictures with us! HAHA.

SO we changed to the the "wheel" game and then to the bugz game... sorri, dunno the names of them all... So i suppose my luck i pretty good at the start and always happened to be the 5th person to place the card. But CHUIZ!! i ganna less than anyone else but whenever i ganna, i collected all the row cards and most of them were "power" cards, with lots of bug-heads. I lost the game... eventually. so much so for a senior LKK-correspondent. puui...

I ganna 3 rounds where mine was the 6th card. These earned me the most bugheads!

And we continued with other games like Democracy, Jungle Speed and Sequence. Before we knew it, it was already 12. So we asked for bill and it was really a confusing process.. The bill was brought to us, back to the counter and back to us again before we really gotten it settled. Hahah the amount was somewat Big! haha we got a free-membership card! Imagine the amt we spent! So we were all confused how much each had to pay... and tadah! MF the auditor brought out her magnificant calculator, out of exasperation. So Auditors and Calculators are nvr apart - moral of the story.

So we walked Jings back to her block and then got on taxis and returned home... OKay! This is an insight on what LKKs would do:

1. Meetings/ Gatherings would hafta after work!
2. OTs are un-siam-able and so live with it!
3. Nights out always end late.
4. Gatherings like such are Definitely FUN, abit nostalgic in fact, and we should have these more!!!

Dear all, while you transit into LKK, nvr hafta to worry that a wrinkle grows here or another white hair has sprouted out there... LKKs live up to their Grand-li-ness. We will welcome you with OPEN arms!!
